The next place she went to was the University of Arizona. She became a three time All-American and was also the First Baseman. She was named the Nation's Most Outstanding Softball Player in 2001 by the Wildcats who won the championship. She also won in 2002. Wounded Warrior's Amputee softball team (WWAST) Its mission is to bring awareness to the military by playing the sport of exhibition softball as well as celebrity games, and also to show the resilience of our soldiers. It is our goal to demonstrate amputees as well and the general public that athletes can perform their sport of choice after years of training and rehabilitation.
